نظراً لطبيعة مجتمعنا المترابط الحريص على تقديم أفراده بالصورة الأمثل، وتكتم الكثيرين على بعض الأمراض التي تصيب أقاربهم، ولا سيما إذا أثرت على تصرفاتهم أو حكمهم على الأمور، فإن إنشاء الجمعية جاء لكسر حاجز الصمت والخجل، وإضاءة المساحات المحيطة بالمرض لتكوين وعي عام يخدم المرضى وذويهم، ويتوجه لصناع القرار لكي يدركوا أبعاد المرض وتأثيره وتكاليف علاجه وصولاً إلى تقديم الرعاية والعناية للمرضى والمهتمين بشؤونهم، لذلك كانت البدايات والتأسيس للجمعية عام 1430هـ-2009م

Due to the nature of our interconnected society that is keen to present its members in an optimal way, and the silence of many on some diseases that afflict their relatives, especially if they affect their behaviour or judgment, the establishment of the association came to break the barrier of silence and shame. The association illuminates the spaces surrounding the disease to create public awareness that serves patients and their families. The association addresses patients and decision-makers in order to articulate the complexity of the disease, its impact, and the costs of its treatment, in order to provide care and attention to all. The foundation of the association was established in the year 1430 AH - 2009 AD

الجمعية السعودية لمساندة كبار السن "وقار" جمعية خيرية غير ربحية تأسست في عام 1437، وهي مسجلة في وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية برقم (728). مقرها الرئيسي مدينة الرياض وتشمل خدمات الجمعية كافة مناطق المملكة. رؤيتهم: الريادة في تحسين جودة الخدمات والبرامج المساندة لكبار السن لحماية حقوقهم. رسالتهم: تهيئة بيئة مناسبة ومتميزة توفر لكبار السن حياة كريمة ومستقرة وآمنة

“Waqar” is a non-profit charitable association established in 1437, and it is registered with the Ministry of Human Resources And Social Development No. (728). Its headquarters is in the city of Riyadh, and the services of the association include all regions of the Kingdom. Their vision: To lead in improving the quality of services and support programs for the elderly to protect their rights. Their mission: To create an appropriate and distinct environment that provides the elderly with a decent, stable and safe life
